Introduction

TPA (Terephthalic Acid)

TPA is generally called Terephthalic Acid, and it is a pure white powder
manufactured through a process of oxidation, purification, separation
and drying with Para-Xylene refined from crude oil as a primary raw material.

Features

QTA & PTA

TPA is divided into QTA (Qualified Terephthalic Acid) and PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid)
and Samnam Petrochemical is responding to customers' needs by producing these two products.

In particular, QTA which was introduced in Korea for the first time with a new technique has
a competitive price and excellent quality contributing to enhancing customers' cost competitiveness and corporate value. It has also obtained certifications such as ISO, OHSAS, KOSHA, and PSM/SMS from domestic and international specialized institutions.

Samnam Petrochemical is expanding its business to overseas markets including China which is the largest TPA market as well as the EU and Middle East while strengthening our abilities through continuous technology exchanges with production plants in Japan, Indonesia and India.
