Samnam Petrochemical is a specialized producer of TPA (Terephthalic Acid), established in 1988 and has a factory located in Yeosu, Jeonnam with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons. As we introduced new technology, QTA(Qualified Terephthalic Acid) which is the only one in Korea, we are strengthening the competitiveness of the chemical fiber industry by supplying high-quality products at excellently competitive costs.
In addition, in order to build a service system for customer satisfaction, we took action by creating a 'visiting service' by visiting the site where products are used and are explained, and it is creating a culture where we think and act from the customer's point of view.
Our company is not satisfied with the achievements that we made so far. We are internally strengthening our competitive edge through productivity improvement and continuous technological development efforts and externally expanding sales overseas. These include China which is the biggest market for TPA, EU and Middle East. Through these actions, we will establish ourselves as a true global leader in the TPA industry by producing high quality QTA and diversifying export markets.

Samnam Petrochemical produces TPA, the main material of polyester fiber, using PX (Para-Xylene) as a raw material. Among the various forms of TPA, Samanm Petrochemical supplies QTA, which has excellent quality and competitive pricing, to contribute to enhancing the cost-competitiveness and corporate value of its customers.
